Winterhaven Festival of Lights - A Tucson Holiday Tradition Since 1949 - Things To Do Tucson!

The Winterhaven Festival of Lights has taken place in the Winterhaven Neighborhood of Tucson since 1949! It's definitely a Thing To Do In Tucson! Located north of Fort Lowell and West of Country Club, The neighborhood features beautiful mid century ranch homes and large mature pine trees that were planted when the neighborhood was built.

Most all of the homes are decorated, most featuring unique handcrafted designs and many that depict Southern Arizona! The holiday decorations are far more than you would find for sale at any large big box store, with the unique designs making a walk through Winterhaven at the Christmas Holiday truly magical! Tucson Electric Power helps decorate the mature pine trees that line the streets with lights stretching high into the night sky!

The Winterhaven Festival of Lights is free, open to the public through December 25th. They request you bring a canned food item to donate to the Tucson Community Food Bank. I highly encourage a visit to Winterhaven this Holiday Season - a top Holiday Thing To Do In Tucson!
